Hands for Life: Community CPR Training is an Irish Heart Foundation programme, supported by Abbott and ESB Networks, which offers FREE CPR training in communities across Ireland.
Every day in Ireland 13 people die from a cardiac arrest and around 70% of these happen at home. Unfortunately, just 6.5% of people in Ireland who have a cardiac arrest in a non-hospital setting survive. CPR is an easy skill to learn and once you know how to do it, you could save someone’s life.
With Hands for Life, the Irish Heart Foundation is offering free CPR training courses in communities across Ireland and Sligo PPN is taking on the role of coordinating some of these sessions in the county.
Join us and learn how to use your hands to save a life in just an hour.
Please note that this course is available for any adults aged 18 years and over and participants must be able to kneel during the session.
