Established to commemorate a local flute player John Egan, Ardlebeg, Ballintogher who promoted traditional music locally and later in Dublin until the time of his death in 1989. Aim to continue promoting Irish music, song, dance & story in Sligo and beyond. Organized annually in mid-October in conjunction with annual Feis which was 40 years in existence this year 2018
