Binder Arts is a new arts organisation providing artist workspace and producing cultural events in Sligo. The organisation combines the twin activities previously offered through Pulled and Spilt Milk Festival. Pulled is a printmaking studio and artist workspace which has been in operation since 2016. Pulled delivers workshops both at the studio and on the road for artists, schools, arts organisations, youth groups, disability services, and individuals. It offers a resource for local and national artists to create print-based art. Since 2021 Pulled has also offered artist residencies. Spilt Milk is an annual festival of music, art, and film. A town-based festival, events take place in various venues in November. It was founded in 2019 to extend Sligo’s artistic and festival calendar into the winter and provide a platform for experimental art across music, sound, video, and film.
