At 9.45 am an event will take place in The Glasshouse Hotel gearing up towards the Sligo PPN Elections 2024 and encouraging people, especially those from under-represented communities, to take part in local democracy. The event will feature a number of keynote speakers including Senator Eileen Flynn and Uruemu Adejinmi, former Mayor and sitting Councillor of Longford County Council. At the event, people will be supported to make sure they are on the register and given all the practical advice they need to become more active in the community. Full Event Flyer attached.
