Constitution of Sligo PPN proposed for AGM 27 November 2019

The constitutional amendments for consideration primarily relate to operational changes which will allow for the Secretariat to utilise a range of voting methods, without all elections having to be confined to an AGM meeting. This will allow the PPN to fill vacant seats as and when they arise and will allow for more environmentally sound practises.

Additional amendments include:

  • The establishment of interest groups to allow member groups from the 3 different pillars to come together around shared areas of interest.
  • The inclusion of a reference to Associate Members
  • The amendment of Secretariat make-up to 9 to account for the newly established MD
