County Sligo is home to a wide range of beautiful outdoor spaces, from coastal trails to woodland and riverside walks to community parks. This interactive map, developed in collaboration with Sligo Sports Recreation Partnership, highlights locations across the county where you can enjoy nature, and explore what your local environment has to offer.
Whether you’re looking for green spaces like parks and forests, or blue spaces such as lakes, beaches and riverbanks, you can browse the map freely or use the filters to focus on specific types of spaces that interest you.
This project is part of the Community Climate Action Programme Strand 2 and is funded by the Government of Ireland through the Department of Climate, Energy and the Environment.
