May 25 – 26, 2024
Street Feast is Ireland’s nationwide day of street parties, community celebrations and neighbourhood lunches, which took place across the country on Saturday May 25th and Sunday May 26th 2024.
Check out what happened throughout county Sligo below.
Whilst Achonry Farmers Market takes place every Saturday on the N17 between Ballinacarrow and Tubbercurry, the Street Feast is a special day in their calendar with lots going on. Several places donated treats and food who everyone present enjoyed. All the while listening to live music by the great Eva Dore, who entertained us by playing the guitar, and the Urquhart Family, who were on the violin, accordion, and guitar.
A big thanks to all the stall holders, volunteers, and guests who helped to create such a lovely atmosphere.
