The Fiddler of Dooney will happen on the October Bank Holiday weekend - 26th and 27th October. Several of the most gifted musicians compete every year in this competition. It is hosted by Sligo Town Branch Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann and supported by Sligo County Council.
