Overview

Lecture theatres, computer labs, classrooms, main concourse. All classrooms are set up for online classes and can facilitate online or hybrid meetings. The main concourse is ideal for events and the combination of lecture theatres and classrooms is ideal for conferences.

Accessibility Notes

Sligo ATU is a modern, accessible campus (as long as the main door is not set to revolving). There are several accessible car parks and numerous accessible bathrooms, although there was one with a very heavy door (7kgf). Some of the classrooms and the library have a loop system installed. Look for the signs. One of the booths for working or meeting in is wheelchair accessible. There is also a “Regulation Station” where people can sit in comfortable booths to decompress and a sensory cubbie in the Library. Sligo ATU has been an autism champion for Sligo since the Autism Friendly Sligo Committee was formed.
